Bigjakkstaffa 04-20-2004, 06:11 PM BF1942 never really did much for me (i tend not to play MP for prolonged periods, i skip around from game to game too much), as such this isnt of much interest. --Jakk:t seanieboy77 04-21-2004, 01:57 AM That game looks like so much fun! -BTY Baby Arm 04-21-2004, 04:03 PM Bf1942 series are the funnest games I've ever played...KEEP 'EM COMING :t tantone 04-21-2004, 05:14 PM Well, I wonder if the Desert Combat mod folks are in any way behind this in so far as the profits are concerned. Looks cool though. Wouldn't mind messin with it some. MadPistol 04-21-2004, 06:32 PM Screens look very realistic. I'll keep my eye on this game. :x seanieboy77 04-21-2004, 09:40 PM Ya they do, does anyone know what card they used to get those shoots? -BTY Bigjakkstaffa 04-22-2004, 07:39 AM Dunno, they may even just be renders by the looks of em, though the character models look a tad blocky --Jakk:t Bigjakkstaffa 04-22-2004, 12:42 PM http://www.actiontrip.com/previews/battlefield2.phtml --Jakk:t ajmn86 04-22-2004, 02:36 PM Originally posted by tantone Well, I wonder if the Desert Combat mod folks are in any way behind this in so far as the profits are concerned. Let's just hope it won't be delayed untill 2008. :p Rabbitrunner51 04-23-2004, 10:46 AM You would think they would run out of war stories to portray..but the gamers demand it so... they comply..... looks like it may be a chance at any redemtions that the previous games lacked....and personally i really like these games in general and they are quite fun to play online......even if I get mad at times and frustrated.....its all good ole fun...... In the year 2010..we will have BF 7 of something?? who knows.... we Americans love our war games..... I wouldn't mind seeing mre up to date war games that involve Iraq and Afghanistan or something ...that would be novel .... Bf Vietnam as god as it was given credit for..has quite a few quirks...enough for me to get tired of ti somewhat .....but it is fun when it works right.... I think the game makers must be having as good time making these games or we would get something else altogether...... Still waiting for Pacific Assault to come out?? when is that?? seanieboy77 04-23-2004, 07:35 PM They will never run our of war stories because there are so many and new video cards are always coming. They will be bettre definition and higher resolution, So what I'm saying is they could make a million types of teh same game but as long as the resolution of games keeps getting better the more games they will but on the market. It's a never ending cycle. -BTY MadPistol 04-24-2004, 01:58 AM Heh. Somebody will eventually develop a game called "World War III" And instead of people actually getting killed, they just see how fast the other person can nuke them first. Sounds like a legitimate way of resolving world conflicts. This has been a "Dream on" thought by Mad Pistol :t SysOpt.com
