ut2004 mouse lag

hhmmm, 1024x786, all settings to NORMAL

have a gf4 ti4200 athlon xp2100+ and 512 ddr ram so more than recomended settings

first had everythingto high but that laged....man this game eates alot

well still in single played 2on2 i had mouse lag, i turned mouse to left side, nothing happened and then suddenly it worked and i turned like 360*

turned some things now OFF, in multiplayer it seemed fine now didnt lag that much and dint have mouse lag on a 16 man server deathmatch

Do you have anything running in the background of your computer? Did you use a memory hungry program before and perhaps all the memory didn't get cleared?

I ask because mine runs smooth 90% of the time but occasionally I will get a little lag but I notice the same lag in other games as well. I do lots of heavy photoshop work and work with extracting files so the memory gets eaten up. Usually a reboot works fine.

My stats are similar in terms of vid card ti4200, 1gig pc3200, xp2600+

i use 1024x768 as well with most to normal and a few attributes to high.

ok this is starnge, VERY starnge

the problem is ventrilo (something like teamspeak)

i went in ventrilo with my m8s (clan) and started playn ut2004 single player and it laged

quit ut2004 and quit ventrilo and started ut2004 again and it DIDNT lag ok now i found the prob its ventrilo BUT

i was again in ventrilo and started ut2004 and then i pressed alt+tab and quit ventrilo, switched back in game and it still laged but ventrilo was OFF

i quit ut2004 DIDNT open ventrilo, started ut2004 again played of cours no lag caus no ventrilo IN GAME i pressed alt+tab and started ventrilo switched back to game and it didnt lag!!!???

so this means..........

when i FIRST start VENTRILO and then ut2004 it LAGS, also if i alt+tab the game (minimize it) and quit ventrilo and go back it still lags

but if i FIRST start ut2004 and THEN ventrilo when i alt+tab it WORKS!!!!!!!!
