How do I remove the chipset hsf from an abit NF7-S ? There are pushpins with springs on them. I push them in and twist but do not seem to come free. Do I need to remove the board to get access to the underneath side?
Also, I ordered the wrong Iceberq cooler, too big. Can someone send me the part number for the Iceberq copper chipset cooler, so I don't screw up again.
Thanks

Yes you do.

Yup, there are little 'arrow head' like plastic clips which catch on the underside of the board to hold the HSF in place, you'll need to unount the mobo and nip these arrow heads with a pair of pliers or similar, which should then allow you to pull the HSF out.

You know, you can use the included thermal tape to mount the cooler to the northbridge if it doesn't interfere with surrounding components. In the world of HSFs, bigger is always better.
