Thanks to Virx, Nathan,& Ricardo. I think we may be on to something. I 'ended' all the tasks running except explorer and system monitor. The system monitor memory manager graph showing physical memory unused went from a few 100k to 24M. But... if I have 64M of ram shouldn't more than 24 be unused with nearly nothing running? Does this mean I have some bad RAM?
Also how does one check the CPU fan or internal temp?
Lastly, I have been hearing that it's better for a new PC to be left on nearly all the time rather than turning it off and on is this true?
