I recently got a bx6rev2 board, and put everything together into my system.
all the parts are the same as the old system that worked fine, only changes are

a socket 370 300a celeron, with slocket adaptor from abit.
a bx6rev2 pII motherboard
an atx case.

everything else is the same

awe64 sound card
velocity 128zx video card
dlink ethernet card.
6.4Gig HD
24speed cdrom
3 1/2 drive

When I boot up the 'new' configuration system, it gets to the detecting cpu, detects the cpu as a 300a celeron mmx, then gets to the memory and just stops.

the Memory modules I used were

lgs pc100 cas3 128M dimm
cubig(some unknown offbrand) pc100 with that rating of 3 2 2

amazingly enough, when I got a 32M dimm put in the system as a tester, it actually worked. with the two 128M dimms, I cant even get into cmos.
