I have a P-II CPU and a Intel-440BX Board.
My Operating System is Win-95 OEM - 4.00.950B
I try to Install Intel AGP-I740 Display card.
It is not getting installed properly.
The driver software required an win-95 OSR 2.1 and above......
Can anyone tell me how do i upgrade my win-95 to the version required?
is there any patch, so i can upgrade my win-95 version to OSR 2.1 and above.....

Did you check with the motherboard manufacturer for the AGP fix?

As far as I know the only difference in OSR2.0 and OSR 2.1 is the USB patch. It is called USBSUPP.EXE You can download it here. fixanypc.com/downloads/ (http://fixanypc.com/downloads/)
yeah, the only difference is the usb patch, but some software still requires the patch even though its unrelated. go ask ms to make sense.
Yep, u need to install USB.
You also need to run the TX and up chipset patch.
You should also install BussMaster drivers.
You will be asked for the location of 'usbcd.sys or usbd.sys' or some other nonexistant file- tell it to 'skip' these files. They are created and configure after the usb port is installed, I think its just a glitch in the usb install patch.
After all the "patching" is done, you will see conflicts in device manager for the video card, ignore them!
It is necessary to remove the video adapter and then remove the pci-agp bridge device and the agp controller device from device manager, then restart windows.
Win will find the devices and then load them correctly, but the memory conflict will stay there, although it is not a conflict! But everything will work.
