So, now everyone is talking about the testimony of C. Rice, and there is much talk about what should be made public and what should not and so forth and so on. "Could Sept. 11 have been prevented?" is the question this commission was appointed to answer.
Can you say, dog and pony show?
At the end of this public distraction (don't look too close at Iraq, don't pay attention to your civil rights) what would really be the result? Rather, why isn't there an investigation asking "why were no jet fighters scrambled?" 'Cause it's not like the pilots just forgot to go, somebody somewhere had to give the order to stand down. Who gave the order? Why won't the mayor of San Fran tell who called him and told him not to be in the air that day? And here's a good one: who was so far up in the loop about knowing what was going to happen, that he called his friend the mayor? Why was all air traffic in the U.S. suspended except for one plane carrying the royal family back to Saudi Arabia? THESE (and many more) are the questions that should be being asked -and answered.

Well ........ Umm The second WTC plane being left unhindered to proceed to target was a graphic demonstration of how poor the homeland security measures really were/are.

Utter lack of planning.....

Mind you we have been caught with our pants down before by the mentally unstable too :(

Pointless crowing about it...... But a simple "It's OK we've fixed it now" Is the best ya gonna get.

They are gonna come back too........ Ready? ....... Well its gonna happen anyways so .......... Hang on

Of course its misleading... Isn't everything that has to do with politics misleading these days?

Is it coincidence that these commissions are happening right around election time? I also wouldn't be surprised if WMD's are suddenly "found" sometime in the near future (Read: Before elections are over)
