GeForce4 MX 440 vs ATI Radeon 9000

I was wondering what the differences are between the cards above (I own both, one each in different machines).

I want to use the best card in the computer I use the most.

Or should I just plan on getting a new card. I game from time to time, (usually only Nascar2003 and/or Nascar Thunder 2004)

Current Specs of the Machine used most:
AMD Athlon xp2000+
biostar mb
1g ddr 2700 ram
40 gig hdd


My current monitor is a Philips Brilliance 202P4. I would like to make sure the vid card I have in the system will maximize the abilities of the monitor....

The better of the two is the R9000, if your only a very infrequent gamer i wouldnt worry about upgrading your video card

The 9000 is probably the best. Depending on how much you are willing to spend, a new one might be better. :t
