Okay, check this out. I was so excited i bought one instantly. If it saves even a few minutes here and there its well worth it.

With the PC having so many variable this is a fantastic way of getting right to the problem. If it works I am buying one for sure

I bought two of these gadgets in hong kong a few months back for a few bucks, the first works ok but only on one type of bios and the english translation/diagnosis very hit/miss to understand.

The second one seems to work fine too but had a manual all in chinese <- stupid me ! !

Anyone out there want to translate it :)

Thats what i am hoping, i see a lot of such boards, heck i have a closet full ( okay maybe only a couple dozen ). Anything like this that will help is much appreciated.

If i can figure out a manual for you, i will. Might be close to the same.

Arrived today, looks very nice. Good manual to go with it.

Has LED's on board for all your voltagesl, helps you test the PSU as well.

Has a LED that turns on and then right off at bootup if all is okay. If it stays on, you have shorting issues.

Crossedup did you get around to testing the techaid as I was thinking of getting one but have not been able to get info from a user yet?

Nice little unit, seems very well put together. Have not had the opportunity to put it thru hard work yet but am tryng to find the time.

Well put together manual with it, extension for the LCD readout is nice too.

If you do a lot of troubleshooting, well worth it, just keep the manual handy as it lists all the differant BIOS and some of the codes mean differant things. Have to know what BIOS you are interacting with.

Worth the $ IMO
