I have a Toshiba Satellite T1960CT (laptop)and someone forgot the password. Can anyone tell me how to reset the bios? We tried unpluging the battery with no luck. Is there a jumper or pins on MB to reset? I would be thankful for any help. Rastlin

Unplugging the battery will work. The BIOS will retain CMOS settings for several minutes after the battery is pulled. Pull out the battery and wait a little longer before reinserting it. Its that or download the manual for the T1960 at Toshiba's site if one is available to find out where/if the board has a CMOS RESET jumper block. If there is one you should be able see it. CMOS RESET will be printed next to it.
