First, speaking from experience, I think kerosine works better than water. Its not something you're going to want to be using in the house because of fumes. Do it in the garage or something. Second, he said to change directions at 90 degree angles everytime you change grit. You'll be there forever doing it that way. When stepping up to a higher grit I like to change directions gradually. First at a 20 degree angle. Then using the same grit, I'll cross at a 45 degree angle. It'll work quicker. Theres a reason for it, believe it or not, but you're just going to have to trust me. I won't say the guy is wrong. Everyone has their own way of doing it. I just thought I'd tell you how I do it. ATI RADEON 8500 04-05-2004, 11:42 PM DOOD!!! I gotta do that to my X-Sonic! Awesome!! Johnny Fist 04-07-2004, 12:10 AM I've got a power supply I did that to. Instead og using the polishing products he mentioned in the article I used an industrial grade diamond compund. leprechaun_40 04-07-2004, 08:08 PM Looks cool, but won't those little boxes get HOT? And it DOES seem to resemble a toaster... LOL :D SysOpt.com
