i have a wide differential drive. can i use an adapter to make it work with a 50 pin regualr scsi card?

i don't think so, but i've seen a scsi differential controller card available at www.onsale.com. i think it was kinda pricey though...

Also, if the drive is and HV differential one and you use a regular 68 pin (wide) scsi controller card you might damage BOTH the card and the hard drive. The HV differential drives are not compatible with anything except differential controllers. The LV wide differentials are different also. Before you try to use them, get some more information. A yahoo search on usenet usually has a lot of posts from people who have a lot of good info.
