Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Abit BH6 MB and WD Caviar 6.4GB HDD Mata Leao 03-14-1999, 04:11 PM Just installed the new MB and HDD over the weekend and the problem is when I auto detect the hdd in the bios it detects the drive correctly as a 6.4GB HDD but when I reboot the machine during the boot process it only see's the HDD as being a 990MB. Any one have any suggestions on what I might try to resolve the prob? Also, I did try all the HDD Modes (LBA,LARGE,NORMAL) still the same prob. bighammer 03-15-1999, 09:30 AM have you Fdisked it yet? How about lowlevel format??
