save game data?

so the PC i have bean playing Farcry on wont let me play it anymore. i'm on the 8th level and as soon i try to play it my system shots down. so i'm going to wait till i'm done building the new one to continue.

is there anyway i can take the folder where the game save it self, and save it to a diferent hard drive, and uninstal the game. so when my new PC is ready, i can instal the game on it and put that folder bake in it, so i can continue where i was?

so i need to know where to find that folder. :rolleyes:

anybody as a way to fix this without spending any money or should i just forget about it, and wait for my new PC to be ready to go?

my friend as an even bigger problem, he instal the game stared it and it crashed, now it wont even start windows.
