Have Abit BX6-2
Had 3 fans connected together and connected
to #14 fan header.
It ran ok for 2 days.
They quite running and now I have no power
to that fan header.
Seems that Abit USA does not to answer these
kind of questions unless it is an emergency.
Ha!
Does anybody know what happened?
Thanks

Did you determine what your current draw would be with the three fans. These may have
exceeded the amperage available to that pin out. Another thing to check is did you wire the fans in series or parellel. If you wired in series and one fan gave it up, you now an open circuit and no breeze.

Sterling,
They are wired in a series.
I guess I now have an open curcuit.
No power, now what?
Nothing I suppose

I think that sterling was trying to make a point about that parellel/series thing. In series (like cheap christmas lights) if one goes out they all are out. Plug in each fan indiviually and see if they work.
If none of them work your probably overloaded the amps.
cheers.

Rev,
I hooked up a single fan, it did not work.
No wind from that header I guess.
But there's 2 more headers on this mb.
Thank,
Darryl
