I just recently installed the SB Live on my computer. I am having a terrible time getting it to work properly with my modem. I have a Diamond Supra Max 56K PCI internal modem. It seems that both want IRQ 10 and I cannot change any of them under device manager. Any insights as to how to overcome the conflict? Thanks, eric...

Lets get your sbLive working first then your modem.
Remove both the sblive and the modem from within Device Manager. Optionally, remove sbLive's software (it's easy enough to reinstall and it will prevent any possible software conflicts) from within Control Panels Add/Remove icon. Power-down your system. Physically remove the modem. Power-up. Windows detects device and installs drivers. Reinstall SBL software if you removed them. Update and patch sbLive's drivers and software components. Make sure everything is fine. Power-down. Reinsert the modem card. Power-up. Windows will detect the device and assign it a non-conflicting IRQ.

If you don't have the lastest patches and upgrades for your SBL, get them first at
