I have a major problem with what I think is Direct3D... When I try to get into a game like Mechwarrior2:Mercenaries or MotoRacer or anything, the screen is in an odd shape, not the same size as the monitor. I went into performance, and select 'none' on the 3d acceleration, and it was fine. But I need to use the 3d Card for games, I've already re-installed the card, directx... what is it?

You did not mention what your system configuration is ie: CPU, make and memory size of video card. Be sure to try your display properties settings with just 256 colors selected and not set for 16 bit or higher color settings. If you do have the video display set for 16 bit or higher and your video card does not have the resources to support the resolution your trying to run then you will run into some problems. Read your support docs and possibly contact the game mfg. for any patches that may be required for your video card to operate properly or be supported.

I have a Packard Bell 150Mhz pentium, 128 Megs EDO RAM, Intergraph intense 3d Voodoo Rush (6mb) and my monitor is : 1024x768 at 16 bit.
I never had this problem until a few weeks ago, so I know it's not my monitor or card not being able to run at that depth.
