Just recently i noticed that my home page was changed from a blank page to some other adware site. I ran ad aware and cleaned the pc up, but that didn't help. When i go into IE options the box where you can change your homepage is all greyed out.

If anyone has had a similar problem or knows what is wrong i would really appreciate the help.

If you have Spybot, it will lock you out of it if you have it configured to do so. Go to the immunize area and look at the bottom for the check boxes.

I don't have spybot.
I use ad-aware, system mechanic, and zone alarm as a firewall.

I don't have reason to believe either of those programs would be at fault, since i just noticed this a couple days ago and prior to that everything was fine.

Would a re-install of IE6 maybe solve the problem?
