I have a Asus P55TVP4 motherboard and am trying to install a 64 Meg SDRAM DIMM to replace my 34 Meg EDO SIMMS. The computer posts and boots, but it only shows that there is 16 meg of RAM. I have 256 K cache and another 256 on its way, could the amount of cache have an effect. Any ideas why it is doing this ?

Thanks in advance,

Stuart

I don`t know maybe problem is in memory or maybe is memory too large for this mobo. I think cache doesn`t help.

Take a look at the BIOS setup and see if there's a field for "AGP aperture" or words to that effect, then set it to 64MB. See if this works. Cheers!
