Worked without a problem. Note: do not attempt touse DriveCopy to clone WindowsNT servers that are on a network. This will cause all kind of problems due to duplicate machine identifiers on the same network (i.e. it's a WindowsNT, not a DriveCopy issue). I have not personally used DriveCopy with Windows98. Actually, the program runs under Caldera OpenDOS (or somesuch) during the actual copy process, and it support just about every partition type one can imagine. So for all I know it should work. DriveCopy is a PowerQuest product. I think I bought it for around $35. -- Norbert Ziz 03-08-1999, 11:35 PM Most new HD's come with a boot floppy that is functionally a stripped down version of Drive Copy (notice I said functionally, not literally...) Set up the old and new drives on the same ribbon cable and boot your machine with the included disk. Up comes a menu of options, one of which is "Copy partition from one drive to another" or something similar. Choose your source and destination drives correctly and off you go. Disconnect the old drive, hook the new one up as master and you're done. If your anti-virus software checks for boot record changes, DON'T let it fix them! Tell it to accept the changes as correct/expected and all will be just as it was before, now with more HD space! SysOpt.com
