Upgraded to Win98 and now I get fetal exception OE .....!!!!!!!!!

Hi there,
As I posted earlier, I did a fresh win98 install on a formated HD. I had problems with directX 6.1 and the refresh rate of my monitor but that is fixed now. BUT another problem that I'm having is that I'm getting a "fetal exception OE has occured at 0028:C004E0BR in VXD vcache (01)t00000AD9". When this happens I can't restore windows and I'm forced to reboot. This has been happening when I try moving large files (i.e. >20megs) from one HD to another or when I try to install some new software. It dosn't happen all the time but at least evertime I'm on the computer. Can anyone help me??

Do you have an anti-virus program loading on start-up? Say- Norton or Solomon? Or even someother one? If you do, disable it to keep it from loading. Make certain every feature is off. If it's easier to uninstall now and reinstall later, do so. Run your system as you normally do. See if the problem occurs.
