Bus Master

Good morning everyone,

I spent my weekend installing a new mobo (Asus P5A-B) with a Mystique G200 and a dvd (Pioneer 6x). Unfortunately, I have to install a new bus master driver in order to get Win98 to recognize the dvd. I checked the asus tech support and I know what to do, except for one thing:
--> how to disable the bus-master driver by uninstalling Ali PCI bus-master IDE driver...

Stan: When I installed my 503+ w/ AMD 333 pc100, I also had to install the new IDE bus master from FIC to run it at UDMA 33. It automatically replaced the bus master that was previously installed. The same may be true of yours. If it doesn't work that way, simply re-install the generic busmaster you're using now and cry for help from Asus Tech support. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
