I would take the $2800 and build me a good system and take the rest and go on holiday. bushmaster 03-21-2004, 08:41 PM major reeeep-off. I can build that way cheeper and much better. jrad2350 03-25-2004, 04:36 PM As can most of us. But..dang...thats alot of money, and i mean, its manufactured by compaq, whats up with that? AllGamer 03-28-2004, 06:39 PM It's due the "bundled" )-| software doZer666 03-28-2004, 08:31 PM well...it looked nice at first...but now that i look at it...its not that great for that price...somewhere:t _Mystical_Night 03-29-2004, 10:58 PM Originally posted by doZer666 I saw this and cryed: http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=307520&pfp=cat1  not bad :p but not drool worthy  morpheus kain 03-29-2004, 11:09 PM The only builders who make systems worth drooling over is Voodoo. SnoopyComeHome 03-29-2004, 11:19 PM Take off about $600-$800 and it might be considerable crimsonoa 03-30-2004, 01:50 PM compaq's answer to the dell xps? hrmm... nork 03-31-2004, 12:16 AM really, nothing to drool over. You could build it yerself for less. Then you can drool with the bucks you save! justinstyle 04-03-2004, 02:30 AM Did someone say drool? Hold on to your spit until you see these! As far as I am concerned, these are the only "drool-worthy" "proprietary" PC's on the planet! Check em' out! (http://www.go-l.com/desktops/machl38/features/index.htm) P.S. Try to customize one, you will probably need to sit down when you see some of the optional components and "upgrades"! I highly recommend the Grand Canyon monitor setup, if you decide to purchase one of these beasts. bushmaster 04-03-2004, 07:42 AM It seems all the super duper high speed technology they boast about in their PC's is optional. So after you add it all in at checkout and then get the "sweet" grand canyon display, you could be up over 30 grand for a desktop. justinstyle 04-03-2004, 03:52 PM Insanely expensive! I'll give you that, but you've got to admit some of the optional equipment is far beyond drool-worthy! Did you see the cooling system? It's basically an A/C system. Raptor1 04-25-2004, 02:20 AM I scanned the entire offer over, and nowhere does it mention what type of power supply that is included...... from experience, comp usa's power supplies are junk....!!!! I owned two identical systems with pentium 3 chips and both power supplies went south after a couple months.....granted, they may be using a different power supply manufacturer for this system but don't know....... very nice optical equipment but,as others stated, this system could be built entirely from newegg.com at a much cheaper price including a monitor, which this one does'nt have..... I'm sorry but had a gut full of bad experiences with comp usa systems in the past...... Alienware does to, for pre-made computers.:D sbob420 05-17-2004, 03:32 PM these models have a 400w PS in them. i still would not get one though i used to work for compaq and know how crappy their computers are. people were geting these when they first came out and were returning them 2 weeks later because various different problems with ram or video and the mother board was a popular one it seemed to like to **** out alot Bat25 05-20-2004, 06:43 AM Actually these are drool worthy, but way too much $$. Best paint jobs I have ever seen though. I have seen them up close. They are the best looking systems, and I have seen all of em. http://secure.hypersonic-pc.com/scripts/custom_sys.asp?sysid=Boom ConfusedAlien 06-14-2004, 05:25 PM and thats without a moniter. BionicSniper 06-16-2004, 01:04 AM omg INTEL < AMD 2500$ for that pos SysOpt.com
