I have a motherboard with built-in SCSI, and I was wondering if there was some way to create an external connector so I can plug in external devices. I have heard that there are connectors that allow this. Does anyone know what these connectors are called, and where to get them?

On this website select "download liturature"
then select "pricelist catalog color version"
page 7 of this catalog has " Rear L shaped slot adaptors" these are probably what you are looking for.
These guys aren't cheap and you get what you pay for. They will custom build an internal to external cable setup for you if you wish.
