Whilst having a look through the system info program available from your accessories/ system tools folder Ive found an interesting bit of info which may supplement spyware and antivirus checks in your search for malware and java naughties!

Navigate through the list to INTERNET SETTINGS / INTERNET EXPLORER / CACHE / LIST OF OBJECTS

This wee program can provide quite a useful amount of info and its very under utilized!

The path is named slightly different in Windows 2000. Here's mine, looks pretty clean I think.

EDIT: You can also access System Information by running msinfo32.exe
