This is good news to me. I am planning to get either an XBOX or Playstation 2 within the next month, and this might sway me toward XBOX. I want to get a refurbished one, and right now refurbished XBOX's with a game are $140. $30 minus $140 is $110, which looks very attractive to me. :D

I just got an Xbox off of eBay for around $150 with no game and it was refurbished!

I was just reading an article about it in the Wall Street Journal. They basically emphasize the same thing, but they said that Sony will not be quick to match Microsoft's price cut.

Hang on a minute...i think ill wait for one more price cut...isnt Billy makin enough money as it is....cmon now...long horn is comin out within the year...and than how you have to pay so much for xbox live.... ::shrug:: i dunno....maybe its just me

Longhorn is coming out next year (http://news.zdnet.co.uk/business/0,39020645,2134437,00.htm) (at best). But XBOX's next pricecut probably won't be until early 2005 anyway. :t

I was readin in my playstation magazine in the "Goosip Gossip" Section that the PS2 is readying for a $149 usd or less price tag shortly :t
