Splitting Large WAV files

I have a large WAV files that actually contains 12 audio tracks. Does anyone know of an application that can split the WAV into separate files, either in WAV or MP3 format? Freeware would be preferable, since I won't be using it often. MM Jukebox can only do this by using a line input and Roxio Easy CD creator has this option greyed out for some reason. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Try downloading WaveRepair. I was designed to do that among other things with wav files. I use it for LPs and cassesttes to CDs.

You might try Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/).
