OK I've finally downloaded some pics of the "grill" I'm using on my blowhole. Now what's the easiest way to post them? Do they need to be downloaded to a website 1st?

Direct1 03-14-2004, 10:22 PM How many are you talking about? You can attach pictures to you posts. Right above where you click "Submit Reply" is where you can attach files. Good luck! :D bonz_dragon 03-14-2004, 10:27 PM Thanks, Next stupid question. How to add more than 1 link per posting. I'll get this yet! Direct1 03-14-2004, 10:36 PM I don't believe you can. You can link pics from a web site. If your Internet provider gives you free space, you can upload them there and link to them in a message. Good luck! :D crossedup 03-14-2004, 11:28 PM Is that an old speaker grill? Looks nice, whats under it? A 120mm bonz_dragon 03-15-2004, 12:36 AM Yes that's a door speaker grill from a Nissan Sentra. 6" hole under it with only an 80mm fan. There's not enough room for a 120 between the PSU and the harddrive rack. Might be able to squeeze a 92mm in though. Believe it or not but it helped lower temps by 10'C. crossedup 03-15-2004, 08:24 AM Believe it or not but it helped lower temps by 10'C. I believe it, i put blowholes in all my Athlon builds, 1000 mhz and up. Best way to help control temps, IMO. Been doing them by hand with a Dremel but i broke down last week and bought a 79mm hole cutter. Boy, is that a whole lot quicker. Not near as rough on the Dremel cutting discs either. I was going through about 10 per hole. leprechaun_40 03-15-2004, 10:59 PM Does the cloth in that cover act as a filter?? :t Neat Idea:D bonz_dragon 03-15-2004, 11:00 PM From what I've seen that hole saw wasn't cheap either! With a hole as large as this I 1st drilled a hole then cut with a very fine metal jigsaw blade. Came out very nice, just lightly around with a file to smooth of edges. BTW, the grills were free! This also really helped the harddrive temps in that rack. bonz_dragon 03-15-2004, 11:03 PM Originally posted by leprechaun_40 Does the cloth in that cover act as a filter?? :t Neat Idea:D No cloth just the plastic grill with the fan blowing out.
