Ok I have a viewsonic E90f 19" monitor.

I have my resolution set at 1280X1024 @75hz

It says It can only do 75hz I unhid the resolutions its not suppost to run. Will it hurt the monitor to run it at 85hz I'v heard people do this and have no problems?

Can you tell the difference between 75 and 85MHz visually?

*I would first drop to 1164x862 and then up to 85MHz, if it's ok like that you can then try upping the res to 1280x1024 if the screen freaks out leave it to reset itself after 15 secs.*
