HI...I got a laptop and in the bios there a option of 32 bit io transfer and right now it's on disabled. Can I get any performance gain if I set this to enabled??? Thanks.:t

You'd have to try it see if its good for you, the bus itself is fast enough by speeding it up you could get data corruption, not recommended for nt systems.

He's not Bill, he's Al. I don't think it refers to data transfer among the drives, but 16-bit (PCMCIA) vs. 32-bit (CardBus) cards. I say go for it.
