I know enough to become a mod, but I haven't been asked :p You need knowledge and patience. Especially patience, new people need step by step, how else would they learn? stevedownunder 03-12-2004, 03:31 AM Originally posted by gjimene2 You need knowledge and patience. Anyone can have a high post count by camping on the computer all night and asking questions and giving simpleton answers. It doesn't mean that anyone knows a drip about computers. Apparently it's about knowledge. _Mystical_Night 03-12-2004, 05:55 AM <tony montana voice> : first you get the money then you get the power then .. the world is yours my friend </tony montana voice> fishybawb 03-12-2004, 07:58 AM Originally posted by Yoshi What will it take for me to become a Mod:D Bribery and plenty of rear-end kissing I imagine. LOL! I've been a moderator on several of the aquarium web sites and a co-sysop of a 60+ line BBS (when BBSs still existed and 28.8 was fast). Generally you need to really know your stuff, not have an oversized ego or power-trip complex and be willing to send a blank cheque to the owner of the site/board.
