I recently purchased the Monster Sound MX300 and have installed it
into my computer. The problem I have is whenever I try to play any A3D
supported game (i.e. Unreal, Recoil, Half-Life), I receive a repetitive
droning coming from the game (it's the best that I can describe it).
I can still hear some of the sounds from the game but they are drowned
out by the pulsing drone. Everything else runs smoothly( graphics,
other sounds, etc.) I have tried reinstalling, downloading the beta
drivers, and none of them seems to fix the problem. Please help!
(non-A3D sounds works fine)
Gateway G6
Pentium II processor 400 Mhz
Diamond Monster 3D II Accelerator
Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI 64V (disabled)
Monster Sound II MX300
Rage Pro Turbo AGP 2X
Gravis Xterminator
