I just put a cooler on the fan of my Creative TNT. To do this I had to move all pci cards one slot down. And after this IRQs transposed. AGP card (TNT) stays at IRQ 11 but another card (SCSI controler) took IRQ 11 too. I want to have different IRQ for different cards. I tryed everything (reseting bios ...). All PCI slots I have are tooken. I changed scsi card with network card but IRQs changed too. I thing that IRQ 11 is for lower PCI slot and for AGP slot too. And when I put card in the lower PCI slot it takes IRQ 11.

How can I separete IRQs for different cards (I have no such good things in my bios) ???
Is there a program that I could use to assign IRQs as I want?

Thanks

You can reserve an IRQ for a PCI slot in BIOS if the mobo's BIOS has that option.
But you can go to Control Panel/System/ and see how the IRQs are used and modify the assignment in Device Manager, unchecking the automatic assignment of resources and puting what you need. Be carefull what you put for not creating conflicts (study the resources first, the plug'n'play and configurable devices you have. Good luck!
