OK, does this come as a shock to anyone to learn that Remedy is going to make another Max Payne game? During his presentation at the Bear Stearns 17th Annual Media, Entertainment and Information Conference in Palm Beach, Florida, Jeffrey C. Lapin, Chief Executive Officer of Take-Two confirmed that the company will publish Max Payne 3. Take 2 also registered http://www.maxpayne3.com a while back.

It better be longer and have more addons maybe like maps with bots or something at the end.

Love these games. I had both for the PC, nowe I only have 2 for PC. I play MP1 on the Xbox.

I will buy it when I find the right deal.

When I pick up an Xbox, I wanna get Max Payne 2. It sounds good, and Max Payne 3 sounds better. I just hope it isn't canceled (or is released in a buggy state). :(

I wonder if they'll make the 3rd one only a 1/3rd of the length of the 2nd since MP2 was being generous about half as long as the first.

I found the 1st to be relatively short, I bought it one Friday night and got done with it Saturday afternoon. I didn't find much replay value either, but the Matrix mod did give some more life to it. I ended up returning it, I didn't think it was worth $40. :t

Returning it??? WOW, where do you live man? As far as I know, once I buy a game, I can only return it for refund if it's still wrapped..

Oh well.. Lets see what they can do with MP3.

Tip #142: ALWAYS open a game box carefully from the bottom of the box. ;)

Your best bet would be to wait about 6 months after it has been released. Usually $39.95 games come down to 19.95.

jak.. no it doesn't surprise me as this game is just a one of a kind novelty.... I really like the film noir also....

I think everyone agrees by now on the shortness of the second game as somewhat of a letdown..but whatever it is i try and judge the overall value and workmanship of the game..

Kind of reminds me of a good soap opera...or mini-series...but intended for guys.. ( girls like it too! )

I have never thought about playing a game and returning it...in the way that Bob05 mentioned... I wouldn't let on to that too openly in public or something might creep up on you....
Does sound pretty ingenious and diabolical... ( a block of wood?? @#$#@ ) A misdameanor at best.

I really thought they would take more of a chance and maybe develope another game noir along these lines with a different title...

After somebody wants to make Far Cry into a Hollywood movie, will Max Payne become another movie?

I think I should have the right to return a game if I don't like it. As long as I return it with all the things given to me, it isn't ethically wrong. What would be wrong is putting another game in there or something, instead of the real one (which I don't do). It's the same as returning a TV or DVD player if you don't like it, just return it in the same condition you got it.

Bob, just play the demo first, read reviews. Then trade in the game on a new one, just a suggestion.

Tried demo, didn't work. I played the PC game briefly at a friends house and thought it might be cool. I bought it, didn't like it, and returned it in the same condition I bought it. I don't know what's so wrong about that.

You guys don't normally agree? lol. :) I normally never enter the gaming section of forums. Even though I used to review games.
