After my last go-round with a DOA hard drive I now have a brand new drive with a clean install of Win98. After almost no further app installations or system tweaking I installed Seagate backup 5.3.3. The tape (an Iomega Ditto internal) and the floppy are now inacessible. I've checked cables, floppy is visible in Setup, but Win98 can't read either.
