Got this Hub :-)

I got this 8 Port hub...... (So far So Good)

8 X RJ-45 ports
1X Power

No mention of which one to go to the server & which ones to go to other comps.......... Do I just plug anything in anywhere & thats that? :(

Complies with:10BASE-T,100BASE-TX
Supports full & half duplex operation on all ports

Sounds similar to a hub I'm using, you can plug what ever where ever you want and away she goes.

You can plug whatever you want into whatever port(I usually plug the server into #1). Half duplex means..something sends info one way, waits and recieves info at one time. Full duplex means info is sent and recieved at the same time....CheeryO!http://www.fancysplace.com/smileys/teacher.gif
