I have an ugly stock Aopen case with 1 fan and a 300watt power supply so I’m looking at getting a new case and some fans soon. I have been doing a lot of searching and reading reviews and I have come down to these 3 cases.

• Diabolic Minitaur mid-tower gaming case w/400watt power supply
• Raidmax 868 Scorpio mid-tower w/420 watt power supply
• Xaser III Lanfire mid-tower Aluminum Case (no power supply)

Any suggestions/opinions?

I suggest some links to the sites you found the cases on so I can see what you're talking about. I'm too lazy to bother looking them up for myself.

its between the last 2.

I like the 120mm on the back of the second one.

The fan setup on the third one stock is rather nice, i would kind of lean that way myself. More $ and no PSU but the PSU's dont really sound like good ones anyway. I would rather pick my own.

My $.02

man that 2nd one is expensive at $153.44
the 3rd one is $154.55

but the 3rd one is made out of aluminum and has a built in fan speed controller and 5 silent fans so id take the 3rd one

those prices are crazy tho id buy from another website , even the 1st one is $88

If you can afford it, I'd get the last one too and match it with a 400w (or higher) Antec, Enermax, Fortron, or Sparkle PSY. Good luck! :D

Whats wrong with the Raidmax case?

I mean its realy cheap, comes with fans and power supply.

It's not the case. Do not equate cases with PSU's. And "really cheap" PSU's stink. Do not buy the "cheapest" PSU, RAM, video card, or MB. You get what you pay for.

Good luck! :D

Oh i understand.

But i mean the reviews for the raidmax are good. And its cheap. The Thermaltake will cost me 3 times as much once i buy a power supply.

Adam...
Take a look at the Antec P160 with the window...

Strawbs will back me on this one...

It's not the abosolute prettiest case...but, it is the most functional I've seen to date.
From fold down opticial drive front, temp sensors, removable motherboard tray and removable, rubber mounted hard drive bays...it is a piece of work....

I don't know if newegg will ship to Canada or not...but, you can at least look at it here...
I thought about that Xaser case...but, I know I made the right choice...

It's really between the Xaser and the Raidmax...The Diabolic **** is rip off of the new Alienware cases...that thing is ugly with the horns....

If you are going to pick a case from the three you showed ( I looked at all the specs on these ) ..I would go with the TT or last one as I am partial ( I have a xaser all steel case ) and I think the one you chose is a bit better than mine..but i love mine as TT builds very nice and strudy cases..very good quality....and their PSU's are good also..they keep cool with all the fans they provide ect..and genrally are a good buy for the money....
MY case and PS were bought sepaerately and cost me about $140.00 total... the price range is about right for all that you are getting....never go cheap..you won't regret it paying a bit more for quality....

That's funny, that Antec case is the exact cast i'm looking at getting. So it is really a good case? I just thought it looked pretty and sturdy.

Inept...
Not only is it a great case, but...very, very well planned out.

No, it's not as flashy as some others, but...it's attention to detail and sturdiness are fantastic.

From rubber mounted removable drive bays....to a removable mobo tray.

It is a large case, though....so, please take the measurements into consideration if you're tight on space.

On the other hand...all that room creats a lot of air space to let your baby run cool!!!
