I had removed a Ball track mouse from my serial port and connect to the PS/2 port
a conventional mouse when I reboot I get an error message. "No Mouse Connected".
I removed the mouse from device manager did
an add new device with the mouse connected to the PS/2 port. PS/2 serial mouse was reinstalled and displayed in device mmgr. "No mouse found connect when I reboot. The serial
port is still active as a mouse connection.
Any suggestion on reactiving my PS/2 port?

some mb have a jumper on the mb to enable the ps/2. also, you might have to enable the ps/2 port in your bios.
