Here down under the term Bush Bash refers to taking your old almost falling to bits cars and going off-road with em till they virtually fall apart.
I wonder if we could arrange a Bush Bash(ing) in the US?

Also, and I hope this was just a joke or something, I was watching one of those mind-numbing morning breakfast TV shows this morning and they had a phone in poll about wether GWB deserves a nobel peace prize.
As I said, I really hope this was a joke or somehting like that, if its not then he must have paid an awful lot for it.

When I turned off the TV, a massive 12% of respondents had voted yes. I'm not trying to be funny here, I'm just amazed that 12% (out of several thousand votes) actually voted 'yes'. They must have been all the millionaires watching.

Unbelieveable!

Its only when Billforce and his extreme right-wing tirades begin that the threads get locked.
I just wondered if the term 'bush bash' was in common use in other countries.

No, I don't think so. Then again we don't speak English here.

How can Bush be nominated for the nobel peace prize? Didn't he start a war recently? The mind boggles.

Hmm, just a couple of observations and a couple of questions.
Keep in mind that the only thing I know about Billforce is how to spell his username here on Sysopt.

I see that Billforce is considered 'extreme right-wing'.

I see that his opinion is considered a 'tirade' ( prolonged bitter speech, according to my dictionary).

Q: What term describes those who take the opposite view of 'extreme right-wing'? Would that be 'extreme left-wing'?

Q: What term describes their opinion? Would that also be a tirade?

Q: Would an 'extreme left wing tirade' also cause a thread to be locked?

Anyway, my idea of 'Bush Bashing' does not involve American Presidents, vehicles, or vegetation. If you have to ask ... :r

Why do you want to know? Are you thinking of posting one? :D

Naah, not really. It's just that it's Friday, and I'm just feeling kinda rambunctious (and I still have my dictionary out).
