Hey guys, thanks for the help before. I found out it was the graphics card and now I have to get a new one. I have a few questions first.
1. I'm leaning towards a 9800 Pro and have around $250 to spend. What's the best card I can get for that amount.
2. I have a 250 watt internal power supply. Will this be an issue with a 9800 Pro.
3. If that is an issue, should I go with a 9600XT or a 5700Ultra?

I had these same questions.
People recomded the Saphire and ATI radeon 9800pro. Saphire is cheaper.
Im 80% sure you need a 300watt power supply to use a 9800pro.

250Watts is really to weak to be running any new video card in your average system. You should go to at least a 350Watt or upover PSU from a decent manufacturer such as Antec, Sparkle or Enermax before lookign at upgrading to one of todays power hungry beasties

I would definiatley say...from past experience...that you need a bigger power supply to run that card! If your overclocking at all you should be using a bigger supply anyway.

This would be a good start for you...
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9800PRO Video Card, 128MB DDR, 256-bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=14-102-268&depa=0) = $212 USD shipped.
Antec P4 ATX12V 400 Watt Power Supply With 2 Fans, Model "SL400" -RETAIL (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-103-912&catalog=58&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=0) = $58 USD shipped. Do not go "cheap" on the PSU.
Good luck! :D

Thanks a lot guys, I just ordered the stuff today. Should be here around saturday. I ended up getting what Direct 1 recommended because it was the most cost effective solution. Although I almost went for the HIS 9800Pro. Now, If only I could replace my antiquated Athlon 1.0GHZ with an Athlon 64 3400+. Guess that wil have to wait.

You might have to to get the most out of the 9800pro...well something a bit stronger than the 1Ghz at least
