Does anybody run an AMD chip at these volts all the time? I haven't givin my chip anything more than 1.75 volts and was wondering if it's safe for long term use. I've got proper cooling so that's not a concern. Just curious if I'd at least get a couple of years out of it at those volts.

Correction: I meant to post 1.775-1.8 volts

If you keep it well cooled it should last a long time (several years). Cool is the key to good CPU life expectancy. I would not expect long life spans with extremely high over voltage conditions (1.8 to 2v or more), even if cool, though.
The shortest life I experienced with high voltages was 6Mo. with poor (stock HSF) cooling.
Enjoy!

The reason I ask is cause I wanna push the fsb up a little more. I'm at the limit with the voltage unless I need to up the chipset voltatage, not sure about that. Just wanted to know if it's safe.

I have been reserching chipset voltage of late. People recommend additional northbridge cooling before raising the voltage. Some people say watercooling is necessary, but I doubt it. I'm going to try a CPU HSF on the northbridge before I raise the voltage. Lots of good info here:

Thanks for the link happy. I'll do a little research and see what I dig up on the chipset voltage.

the 8RDA+ here has been running 1.87VDD for over a year now without issue.

Don't go much over that though, regardless of cooling.

What kind of FSB are you pushing for?

What chip are you running? If stock is 1.6V (ie: Palomino) then 1.8V is a bit of a jump and you'll probably see a rise in temps. If stock is 1.75V (ie: Thunderbird... which already run hot) then 1.8V isn't much of a stretch. In the end, with adequate cooling/decent thermal compound you should be fine regardless of the chip...

I'm running a 2600+ T-Bred right now. Thanks for your voltage input causticVapor, tryin for a 220 FSB. Haven't got over a 209 prime stable at the present time. I'm thinking about throwing in my 2400+ T-Bred, heard their better oc'ers, not sure how reliable that is. But I also have to RMA this board cause the SATA controller is shot. "NB fan went after 20 days" Must be a bad one.

Most 40mm fans that come on stock northbridges are abosulte ****. Expect about six weeks or less before they become unbalanced and start vibrating like crazy.

All AMD chips are fine with 1.8v, save the hammers. Your 2400+ should be able to hit at least 2.25 at that vcore unless it's a really old one - then it'll probably need 1.85v.

That's excatly what mine did. Started vibrating, then ceased to spin anymore. Don't think I want to push it to far, since I have to send this board back anyway. Just gotta make sure all my other stuff is up to the task.
