....one of the batteries in your mouse explodes.
This actually happened to me last night, scared the **** out of me! No harm done though and my mouse still works...hoorah to MS mice.
Feel free to add your own :)
You start thinking (I real life circumstances) "rather than take a chance on this, I'll save and re-load if it doesn't work out"
This has happened to me.

You know you have been gaming hard when.....
Youve gone three days without sleep and have yet to bring in the milk for the entire week (which resulted me running out to get a weeks worth of milk at 4:30 in the morning in nothing but boxer shorts - t'was suprisingly warm)

...reality and the game blend together. I spent 2 straight days playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 when it first came out and spent two days afterwards walking around thinking "Wow, that table would be great for a grind, I could manual off and...". Sad, particulatly when you consider that me + skateboards = hospital :D

If I play a good strategy game..those are the ones that I spend ALOT of time on....for me 8 hours straight is a long time..as I am a bit older and my eyes and lack of sleep can only take so much
The other game that I played ( not so much anymore), was BF 1942....I always stayed up all night and played that one...:r :r :D

you know you really need help when you have bought top of the line components for your computer, and then after playing the games a little, a new card or component has come out, and you want that one.
Also, you need major help when you restart the computer and turn on Hyper-threading just so you can run McAfee virsus scan while you're playing games. Oh the possibilities. :t
but the time that you really know you need help is when you are on the computer at 2 am looking for a UT2K3 server on a school night. done that about 5 different times.

You get sharp pain in the wrist and the knuckles...
My right wrist hurts caused by using the mouse too much. Both of my knuckles hurts cause I don't type like a normal person. I type with 1 fingers each hand except spefic buttons like Space which I use my thumb for it.
I can see myself poping ADVIL every 6 hours within 10 years and I'm only 20...
