I have FIC PA 2013 Motherboard, AMD K6-2 3D 350mhz, STB Velocity 4400 video card, and Windows 98. I can't get any of the aforementioned to run without having to control, alt, delete, end task, to get out. I have the latest DirectX 6, latest STB driver 152version,IRq version1.3 miniport driver. The only thing I haven't done yet is to get the latest Bios and I haven't installed a Vgart v2.9 driver that I have heard a little about. I have also heard that this is common with 350mhz AMD Socket 7 boards, or that its a Windows 98 problem and just wait for the new drivers etc. etc. Does anyone have my setup or any good ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

You're almost there. You need to install the latest Bios update for the 2013 and the latest Vgart driver that FIC has to offer. Be sure to read the Read Me text to fully understand the procedures for installation. If you did not revert to standard VGA drivers before installing the TNT card you may want to do so. Set up the video properties of the system as "Standard Display Adpater" and VGA. TNT cards are a very good card (have the ASUS and Hercules Dynamite TNT)but are very scalable to the processor. Use of TNT on a socket7 is sort of running a V-8 on 6cyls. Unless your going for higher resolution the Banshee cards offer the best bang for the buck with the Super sevens and if you have enough slots and money then going with the Matrox Mill G-200 SGRAM and (2) VoodooII's in SLI would rock the world. There was an issue with the AMD K6-2 350 with Windows, but I thought it was with Win95 but it could be with Win98. Go to Microsofts' web site to bring it up.
Good luck
