I have an ASUS P5A board with 256 MByte RAM installed (ALI V chipset, K6 300 Mhz proc). It seems only 128 MB is cachable. Should I remove 128 MB to increase performance? A Viper 550 video card makes the system to crash with 256 MB installed but works fine with 128 MB RAM. I downloaded and installed most recent driver versions and BIOS updates. Any suggestions. Thanks.
