help - looking for good image convertor/editor

Basically, I'm trying to find a good freeware image convertor and editor that is less than 10 megs or close to it. I've tried Batch Image Convertor in the past (trial version) but it leaves a bunch of big text at the top saying something like "Edited using Batch Image Editor" =/.

Thanks. I tried to download Streamaction, but there was a problem with the download (both zip and exe). I'm going to try the two others =).

EDIT: Would you be able to post or forum PM me a direct link to a page where I could download Macromedia Fireworks version 2? I cant seem to find it...
