22 more days then it shud be out, hope demo comes soon, i mean only 22 days left.....

u going to get the game? the previews so far are looking good, graphics look good, new gameplay, u can transport vehicles with helicopter, takes more time now when ur alone at a flag to capture it, more people means the quicker u get flag etc etc

many people think why shud get bf vietnam, so many good mods out for bf for example eve of distruction?

hm i know EoD and other mods are good but i think vietnam will be something new, and its only 22 pounds at amazon.co.uk which is a brilliant price

I can't wait! I love flying the helo's in DC! Its awesome flying 5 feet off the ground through streets while shooting at fleeing people! I just hope they don't dumb down the controls to EOD levels. Those helo's are easier to fly for new people, but you CANT do the good stuff in them! They just don't control well enough.

Played the Tobruk demo and a couple of the other maps and was staggeringly unimpressed by it all, one of the most boring FPS games ive come across in recent years with little to commend itself, especially not for the going rate of 35 quid

And that it is, and got game of the year when it came out, and honestly how can you call a game that gives you so much versatility both Air and sea and Land boring? I find that hard to fathom, but hey to each his own. Best game in years and will be in my book for a long time.

On BF1942 - I think the intro alone was worth the $39 I paid. Pretty inspiring cinematics. I find myself whistling or humming the tune in times of stress at work. :t

The game itself is most fun whilst playing with friends online, or with the kiddies on our LAN. Having the dedicated server is nice too.

The biggest improvement on Battlefield 1942 that we have right now is the release of the Desert Combat mod 0.7. check it out HERE! (http://www.desertcombat.com/?page=download_DC0.7)
NOTE: Only drawback is that the download file is a staggering 591 MB. There is no patch out for updating .6 to .7 .
