I recently changed my CPU from a P166 MMX to a AMD K6-2 300, and I was over at AnandTech and want to look at the Real audio stream he has on the opening page. I got an error saying that either my ISP's banwith was not great enough or my cpu was not capable. I recall having success with the P166. What gives. I don't understand the bandwith comment. Anyone care to help me increase my knowledge. Thanks

Greg

You can liken bandwidth to the nations highway system..
If you have 8 or 10 lanes traffic moves pretty quickly except during rush hour (peak times)but when you drop down to 4 or 2 lanes everything slows to a crawl except at 2 am when everyones asleep...and since your computer is not at the bottom of the 8 lane exit ramp you get stuck in the 2 lane traffic til you pull up in front of your house.
Put your computer on a cable modem or an ISDN line and the 8 lane highway starts at your house....
