Hi All

Is it possible to have both IDE & SATA installed and working with HDD's in the same PC?

I have the feeling the answer will be no but I just wondered.

yes both will work fine. you just need to specify which one to boot from. There are a lot of guys out there running dual raptors SATA drives in RAID0 with an IDE drive as backup.

I always thought two channels were never enough, now it seems like everyone has a DVD and/or CDrw and a HDD or two.

I might up my system another couple of drives :)
