Relevant Specs:
ASUS Nforce2 A7N8X-DLX 2.0
RVB USB 2.0 256 MB MEMORY STICK
WIN XP PRO SP1 w/ all pre SP2 updates

The system will not recongnize the memory stick. It says its an urecongized device. If I change the USB mode from USB1.1+USB2.0 to just USB1.1 in the BIOS, it works, but it is slow since it is running on USB1.1. All my other USB devices work with the USB at either setting. In the device manager it shows up as an Enchanced controller, so I know it is working at USB 2.0 mode. I have found this issue posted at several forums with no answers.

Anyone know of a way to get this to work properly?

The stick is going to be slow no matter which type of USB you use. These finger drives are dog-slow.

Disable Legacy USB in BIOS setup and update your BIOS too.
