Well! Some of the LAN shops in Singapore found that their computers have been loaded with CS: Condition Zero but the owners did not know about the installation. As Condition Zero is not officially launched here, many people think that the copies are illegal and the respective LAN shops might get into trouble. For me, I did not know about this until I read a short report on this website.

If it's illegal, then they're going to get into trouble, whether gamers there get to play the new game or not.

If you ask me, installing a copied / pirated version of a game onto a public LAN, especially before it's official release, is just asking for trouble, and they deserve everything they get. If they get away with it, good for them, but it's one hell of a risk to take, and just not worth it. I'm guessing the admins knew it had been installed, it's hardly going to go unnoticed if someone randomly installs CS:CZ.

I just knew about it today!

The short report never revealed the locations of those LAN shops. I think the owners are trying to salvage the situation. How can someone install CZ onto LAN computers? I thought they have been locked up by the owners.

Strange!
